I read recently that Pelosi was asked by CNSNews.com where Congress has the authority to order Americans buy health insurance.  The illustrious Madame Speaker’s reply was a bristling, “Are you serious?  Are you serious?”  Somehow stealing the line from John McEnroe just doesn’t sit with me.  The libtards in Congress are now banking on an attempt to abuse the authority to regulate interstate commerce, drawing the comparison that forcing people to buy health insurance is no different than forcing them to buy auto liability coverage (as if anyone thought that was Constitutional).

According to a 1994 CBO study, “The government has never required people to buy any good or service as a condition of lawful residence in the United States. An individual mandate would have two features that, in combination, would make it unique. First, it would impose a duty on individuals as members of society.  Second, it would require people to purchase a specific service that would be heavily regulated by the federal government.”  Just where the hell are they going to draw the line on this slippery slope?  Will the government next mandate we all buy a new car every three years?  To Pelosi and the rest of the mentally deficient in DC I say, Piss off dumb-asses!  I am not going to pay for a public health plan through taxation.  The line has been drawn here and now by me.  Just come and try to make me pay for it.
